The following is an excerpt from "The Frazier Family" information in the Silver City Cenntennial Book 1979
James A. born 31 DEC 1848 New Town, Ohio. He came to Mills County in 1874 and Silver City 1880. As a boy he was interested in live stock business; he was a commission man at Omaha, Kansas City and Chicago Stock Yards. He died in Chicago 18 OCT 1928 with burial at the Silver City Cemetery. In 1872 he married Mary M. Cross who died 1 MAY 1936. They had 8 children: (1) Nellie married James Darby, lived in Council Bluffs, children - Eva and Harry; Eva married Ripley Reed, daughter (2) Nina (Mrs. Gentleman); (3) John M.; (4) E. Lowe; (5) J. Bruce; (6) A. Clara Married Paul Nielson; (7) Frank F.; the eight child (8) Harry H.
Frazier, Earl Lowe, age 25
Son of James Frazier, died of liver trouble in Chicago where his father is a salesman for the livestock firm of Clay Robinson & Co. He was born north of Silver City 10 APR 1878, moving to Omaha in 1884. Later he went to Kansas City where he was engaged in the livestock business with his father. His grandmother resides at Silver City. He leaves, besides his parents, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral was held at the Methodist church in Silver City last Friday.
