John P. Frazier was born in Fremont County, Iowa, May 29, 1862 and was the son of John and Mary Frazier. His father was a soldier in the Civil War and lost his life there, so that the son never had the privilege of seeing his father or enjoying father's care.
He came in his early years to Mills County, where he spent practically his entire life; living an honorable upright life, well liked and respected by all who knew him.
He married to Jeanette Lambert October 7, 1890; seven children, six survive: Bert, Louis, Theodore, John, Trennie and Jessie.
