Mrs. J. L. Frazier Funeral Services Held Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. J. L. Frazier were held Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. in the Mansfield Funeral Home with the Rev. John L. Beebout conducting the service.

Mrs. Frazier was born near Glenwood and lived her entire 86 years in Mills County. Serving as pall bearers were Edward Merritt, Lynn Merritt, Frank Cross, Glen Merritt, Albert Roenfeld and Robert Frazier. Music was furnished by Mrs. Charles D. Costello, soloist accompanied by Mrs. J. E. Ellison, pianist. She sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "In the Garden"

Mrs. Edward Merritt, Mrs. Glen Merritt, Mrs. Albert Roenfeld and Mrs. Lynn Merritt cared for the flowers.

The following life sketch was read:

Jeanette Lambert Frazier, one of ten children of James Lambert and Lydia Shepardson, was born April 9, 1870, on a farm southwest of Glenwood in Mills County and departed this life November 28, 1956, at the Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs.

On October 7, 1890, she was united in marriage to John P. Frazier. To this union seven children were born. Her life was spent on a farm until the death of her husband.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons and one daughter. Jake L. Frazier of Phoenix, Arizona, Jessie Frazier of Malvern, and John Frazier of Seattle, Washington; one brother, Walter Lambert of Yakima, Washington, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Her husband John and four children, Bert, Trennie, Ted and Baby Ida preceded her in death.

Mrs. Frazier was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Her hobby was making rugs. The homes of her children and grandchildren have been made more beautiful by this talent and her love of beauty.

Burial was in the East Libert cemetery.
